Gladstone Builders has been engaged to provide design & preconstruction management services for a multi-phase expansion of Crown Roof Tiles manufacturing facility located in Arcadia, FL. The first phase consists of a 103,000 SF concrete paved lay-down yard for additional storage capacity including storm drain, site lighting & earthwork. The second phase will be an additional manufacturing plant to increase the capacity of the plant. Project team consists of TDM Consulting providing civil engineering and Robert Massengale, AIA providing building design services. About Crown Roof Tiles:

Design/Build work has begun on an iconic downtown Fort Myers hardware store. Tropical Hardware opened in 1982 across from Lee Memorial Hospital. Gladstone Builders has been retained to provide design/build services for their new storage building and garden center additions. The project team will include Robert Massengale, AIA & Donald D. Slisher of BSA Engineering, Inc. A new 1,800 SF storage building along with a new facade will be built onto the existing building with a new open air garden center at the front of the property along US 41.

Gladstone Builders has been engaged for master planning and campus expansion for Coastlife Church’s main campus located in Venice, FL. Gladstone’s team include Robert Massengale, AIA providing building design & Weiler Engineering Corporation providing civil design. The project will expand the current (3) three building campus with an additional 6,615 SF of classroom, meeting & administration space while creating an open foyer connecting the current auditorium building & youth buildings. This project will be in various phases with the start of new elevated mezzanine addition to the existing auditorium to accommodate the  A/V controls team. Site modifications will include reconfiguration/addition of some onsite parking and drive isles to create additional parking capacity onsite for the planned expansions.

Gladstone Builders has been engaged as construction manager for the Next Level Church-Cape Coral location renovations. The existing Lighthouse Church will be converted & modernized for the new campus. The existing auditorium building will be retrofitted with fully automatic fire sprinkler system, auditorium & foyer expanded and upgraded with new lighting, polished concrete floors and Audio/Visual System. A separate children’s building will also be renovated to allow for more centralized kid’s check-in as well as expanded classroom spaces. Team members include Robert Massengale, AIA, TDM Consulting, Harmon’s Audio/Visual & Fiber Solutions. This will be the third campus Gladstone Builders has had the privilege of working on.

Gladstone Builders has been engaged by Destiny Church-Naples to design/build their classroom renovations and lobby expansion. The project will consist of expanding the current lobby space by enclosing a series of outdoor entry areas as well enclosing an exterior covered porte cochere to be converted into an additional classroom space. The existing interior space will be renovated to create a more open & multipurpose space for the classroom, youth and office areas. The building will also be retrofitted with a fire sprinkler system. Gladstone has partnered with Robert Massengale, AIA and Dean Martin of TDM Consulting for building and civil design.

Gladstone Builders has been selected as construction manager for the Caribbean Park Amenity Center in North Naples by Zeman Homes. Phase 1 of the project will be a replacement of the current amenity center with a new 7,000 SF Clubhouse, resort style pool, spa, and shuffle board court. The clubhouse will include a full commercial kitchen, billiard room, fitness center, multipurpose ballroom and lounge area with a free standing mail kiosk. Site amenities will include a trellis covered patio, outdoor bar, spa, pool, and shuffle board courts. Future Phase 2 will include pickle ball courts, sales office and additional landscaping. The project is slated to break ground the 3rd quarter of 2019 with an early 2020 finish expected.

Zeman Homes has awarded Gladstone Builders a design-build contract for the renovations & modernization on the Waves RV resort in Naples, Fl. The project will consist of renovations and modernization of the clubhouse, amenity center, expansion of pool and pool deck, upgraded landscaping, hardscape and reconfiguration of sports courts. The remaining community features on property to include the entry features and administration building will be renovated to provide additional multipurpose space and better community access. The project will be phased renovations scheduled to take place in off-season. Gladstone has teamed with Brandt Henning, AIA of Hlevel Architects for building and outdoor living design, Josie Presar for Interior Design & Phil McHenry, ASLD of Architectural Land Design for Landscape/Hardscape design.

Merits Health Products USA, a medical device manufacturer located in Cape Coral, purchased the 120,000-square-foot building in December. The facility sits on a 7-acre lot in Fort Myers and is considered a rare piece of industrial property. Gladstone Builders has been engaged in design-build services for the property renovations to include HVAC replacements, roof coating, office modifications with the addition of a new boardroom, training center and showroom. The existing manufacturing space will be converted to warehouse space with the addition of a secondary truck well to further increase circulation efficiency of inventory management and distribution from the facility. Gladstone teamed with Robert Massengale, AIA for architectural & engineering services.

Tenant improvements for the Cloud 9 Float Spa in Fort Myers, FL have started. Cloud 9 will offer two sensory deprivation float pods, two acupuncture spaces, private float room, sauna, massage therapy and future juice bar. The tenant improvements to the existing 1,700 SF medical office space are expected to be completed by end of January 2019.

Gladstone Builders has been awarded a second Amenity Center – Oasis at the West Villages of North Port by M/I Homes. This amenity center will include a resort style pool with sunshelf & paver pool deck, pickle ball court, 1,800 SF clubhouse with flex room, bathrooms, open air porch with seating and mail kiosk area for community. This project along with Amberly Amenity Center have broken ground this month.
